IHSW January

I have a little bit of progress on Pumpkinville for the weekend.  This weekend was IHSW, but I didn't get to hermit that much, I would love to hermit full time but there is not much pay for that job, unfortunately...

Anyway here is my little bit of progress and I am not sure how I feel about the Petite Treasure Braid, I really love the sparkle, but I'm not sure I like how it lays on the fabric, but I will continue on and see if that thought improves...hopefully it will...

Pumpkinville here we come!!!

Good morning I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far, I hope my weekend will get better after 3 pm today---after work!!!

I just wanted to share my start of Pumpkinville, I stitched a little before work yesterday, so not a lot of progress, but I think I'm really going to like this one !!!

WIPocalypse 2019....

Well another year has come and gone, and I started out pretty good with last year's

WIPocalypse.....

...but I fell by the wayside...again!!!   So on to 2019 and a New Year with new hopes and dreams---of getting some done on these wips and probably starting a few new ones, one I know of already--Come on Jan 15.

Enough of that, I'm Bonnie and I've been cross stitching for a lot of years, I've taken breaks but I always find my way back. I am married(34 yrs) and I have 1 daughter and several fur babies and I work full time as a retail supervisor.  I would rather stitch but work is always calling.

I have several wips and then the 1 I'm excited for on Jan 15 and my goals are to stitch as much on these as possible!!!

I restarted Monopoly!!!

and the one I'm excited to start!!!

and thats it for now, but I'm sure this will grow, plus I do have a bunch started thats not on here, but we only have so much space right????

July TUSAL

It's TUSAL time already,this year is just flying by.  So glad with a couple of the challenges and things I am in, it has really motivated my stitching, I just hope it continues>>>

An update or two...

Been trying to get some stitching done since July has gotten here and is really moving pretty fast, August will be here before we know it...

I am stitching along in the 4th annual Tour de Stitches in the Cross Stitch, It's fun! facebook group and its really motivating me to get my stitching out and actually work on it!!!

And I am also stitching in the Christmas in July Sal on facebook as well, an event in Cross Stitch Finish Line!!! 

And-can you believe it-stitching along with the 100 days of HAED group on facebook as well, although not officially!!!

June WIPocalypse Checkin 2018

Well this will be a quick check in because I sure haven't stitched much this month or in a few months, hopefully that is changing...went back to the ortho Dr. because I still can't close my hand or really grasp things like I should after breaking it, so he says physical therapy for 6 weeks, so we shall see...

But I have stitched a bit...

I pulled out Dog Lessons for People and did a little bit

and as previously posted Into the Jungle

so not a totally wasted month I guess and as far as this month's question about the perfect stitching retreat...I am pretty comfortable with my stitchy space on my couch at home, not sure I could stitch in public---too many distractions!!!

IHSW for June

So I stitched a bit this weekend, had to work most of the weekend, but I did get a little bit accomplished.  Every little bit does help I suppose. After breaking my hand,I got way behind on everything, including Into the Jungle by Frosted Pumpkin... so here is mine so far!!!

Finished...

So I finally finished Mr. Sloth and yes I do need to decide on a first name for him, Mr. makes him sound so grown up and he is too cute to be an adult.  So I will think on this for a bit longer, because part 2 comes out today and if you haven't yet come join us and stitch it with us --Into the Jungle-- by the Frosted Pumpkin...

my new happy....

yeah i know, been a long time since i posted,and i have been cross stitching some,not a whole lot though, i think my problem is i want to do so many,that i never get started...but i've decided this has to change,here is my last start

its the frosted pumpkins-story time sampler-and its so cute,so i'm hoping to get caught up---cause i just bought the new christmas town that just came out and i neeeeed to start it...


but on to the reason my blog name has changed----i have fell into the world of planning--HAPPY PLANNING to be exact, i started with filofax and franklin covey and then to color crush and on to midori and there are things that i truly love about each of them,but i have since found true ***happy*** since i found the MAMBI HAPPY PLANNER and for those that might not know,thats me&my big ideas---they're great,think i have found peace for a bit,who knows i may never have to buy another one,at least not till december of next year

i have actually bought two of them and some what combined them,this is the first one

and then ordered this one from the MAMBI website

and here is what this week looks like,i kinda have a thing for doggies

so i guess thats how i been spending my time and i love it all--talk again soon...bonnie

IHSW for MAY

ok so heres my progress for may ihsw,i started with a blank canvas for the frosted pumpkin once upon a time sampler,i am way behind,as it is May and i don't even have the frame done yet,but this has went pretty quick,as i did'nt get to work on it but just a little while,but i think i'm gonna love it,can wait to get a month started,anyway heres the pic and i hope everyone is doing well,talk again soon,bonnie

here is my tusal post a day late,sorry,sleep overtook me last night before i got a pic taken,its possible it may happen quickly tonight too!!! i did however,purchase the sampler by frosted pumpkin--ONCE UPON A TIME.  i am excited to start this one also,think i'm gonna have too many going at once.

and i am still in the process of getting my dmc threads changed over to the bags,not going as fast as i had hoped,oh well it will be nice when i do get finished!!!
